In a very peaceful setting, this detached cottage is nestled at the top of a private road surrounded by trees and forest ,yet only a very short distance from the village centre, with supermarket, patisserie, pub and restaurant, takeaway, and swimming pool . The area is renowned for its outdoor pursuits, breath taking scenery and abundant wildlife.
Both Glencoe Mountain Resort and Fort William, known as the ‘Outdoor capital of the UK’, are only a short drive.
Nearby activities include mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowboarding, kayaking, walking, golf and fishing.
Travel on the West Highland Steam Train (as depicted in the Harry Potter movie) to Mallaig, crossing the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, or visit some of the unspoilt beaches, castles, museums, and distilleries.
Boat trips to the inner isles including Mull and Iona are easily accessible, or take a day exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

Lovely cottage very clean and comfortable, only negative there was no safety mat in the shower. In a lovely position with lovely views on the mountains and plenty of walks in the local area. We visited Malaig which was very nice, about 1hr 15min drive. We really enjoyed our stay at Pine Marten Cottage and would definitely stay again.

Owner and housekeeper very helpful. Heating is one extreme to the other, either freezing or roasting. Location is really good and central especially if wanting to climb the hills down the glen and around glencoe. House well equipped.

Pine Marten is locate in a quiet location and very comfortable. It is ideally situated for visiting Glencoe, Fort William and the surrounding areas.
