Langdale Cottage is situated right in the centre of the Lake District National Park and is perfect for families who love the great outdoors.. Step to entrance.
Ground Floor:
Open plan living space.
Living area: With 28" Smart TV.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1: With double bed.
Shower room: With walk-in shower and toilet.
First Floor:
Bedroom 2: With 2ft 6in twin beds (for children).. Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. . Garden.

You can leave your car in the private parking space and easily explore the delights of this popular village and the beautiful countryside around it on foot.

There are stunning scenic views and many walks accessible from your doorstep including a lovely riverside route to nearby Elterwater which is one of the most beautiful spots in the whole of the Lake District.
The village centre has a shop where you can buy all your essentials as well as a well-known pub just ¾-mile away.
The popular tourist hotspot of Ambleside has an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants, cafés and coffee houses.
For touring by car or exploring the Lakes, the A593 leads you effortlessly to Ambleside on the northern shore of Lake Windermere then continue south to take in Bowness-on-Windermere and Kendal or north through Rydal and Grasmere to Keswick and Derwentwater.
The Lake District’s third largest lake, Coniston, lies a just short way to the south, and most of the best known Lake District locations are within easy reach from this central base.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Langdale Cottage. It was in a great location with stunning views from the lounge. The bedroom was rather small and we had a few issues with the door handles with wet hands! We would have liked to see a casserole dish amongst the kitchen equipment. These are only small criticisms of a lovely cottage.

This was the second time that we have stayed at Langdale Cottage, Chapel Stile and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time.
if I had to add anything, I would like a firmer mattress and a spare blanket, but other than that this place has everything that you could possibly want.
The view from outside towards the Langdale Pikes is superb.

Super amazing bolt-hole with stunning views and brilliant access to the Langdales. It’s only small but is everything you need for a short stay or week in the South Lakes - can’t recommend strongly enough!
