No smoking. . Quarry Cottage is a spacious mid-terraced property and is ideal for a family holiday in North Wales.
It is conveniently located, just a short walk from a good selection of shops, pubs and cafés. Bethesda is a former slate town on the fringes of the Snowdonia National Park and is now famously the home of North Wales’ most exciting attraction, Zip World.
The Ogwen Valley is less than a mile away and is a superb spot for outdoor enthusiasts, with exhilarating walking opportunities, and Snowdon itself is easily accessible from nearby Llanberris.
Quarry Cottage also offers storage for bikes, with a traffic-free cycle route starting in Bethesda and heading towards the university town of Bangor, home of the National Trust’s Penrhyn Castle.
Caernarfon and Conwy with their magnificent castles are nearby, and the Isle of Anglesey with its 125 miles of coastline, is easily accessible.

Great accommodation for the price. Large communal space and good sized bathroom (although only one bathroom so bear that in mind when travelling as a group). Could do with some updating and a cobweb clear out but overall did the job and would recommend. We stayed while on a trip to climb Snowdon which was an approx 15 min drive away.

The cottage was perfectly positioned as a base for visiting Snowdon and Anglesey. It was clean and spacious for larger groups. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with a separate shower and bath. The kitchen had everything we could have needed including all cleaning materials, cookware and coffee, tea, sugar and milk. We would definitely book again.

Great location for Zipworld and walking in Eryri National Park. A good base and had all we needed for a long weekend break.
Having one bathroom was the only slight downside but was easily managed.
