A cosy, semi-detached studio cottage located in the hamlet of Near Sawrey, two miles from Hawkshead in the beautiful Lake District National Park.
The cottage is perfectly appointed to provide studio accommodation for couples to explore this peaceful and tranquil part of the Lake District.
Nestling amongst a small cluster of cottages and next door to a country guest house, this Lake District cottage is surrounded by stunning scenery around every corner.
With an open plan living area with a king bed, sitting area and kitchenette plus a shower room with a heated towel rail, this holiday home is compact, but a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Outside this cottage is a small sitting area with endless footpaths and bridleways to explore in every direction.
You will always find somewhere to simply sit back and enjoy this mesmerising landscape.
Just 200 yards from the cottage door there is a footpath leading to Moss Eccles Tarn and Claife Heights.
The views from Claife Heights over Lake Windermere are spellbinding dont forget to take your camera! Just up the road is The Tower Bank Arms Inn and of course, Hill Top, home to Beatrix Potter meaning that without even moving the car you will find lots and lots to do. There is fishing available on Esthwaite Water and lots of lovely shops and tearooms to enjoy in Hawkshead itself.
Why not explore the other side of Lake Windermere by taking the car ferry from Far Sawrey and cruise over to Bowness-on-Windermere where you will find a colourful mix of shops and restaurants? Also the beautiful walled gardens at Holehird, just out of Windermere, are a delight at any time of year.

Ees Wyke Studio is a cosy, semi-detached studio cottage in the village of Near Sawrey, close to Sawrey itself in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep two people in open plan studio accommodation with one double bed, a kitchenette, dining area and sitting area.The cottage also contains a shower room. To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for one car and a from gravelled sitting area with furniture. Located in beautiful countryside, Ees Wyke Studio is a lovely cottage suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year. EV charger, extra charges apply. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Note: This property has a check in day of Friday

Ees Wyke was the most DELIGHTFUL studio in one of the most BEAUTIFUL places on earth. I chose to go to the Ees Wyke Inn for breakfast and dinner. The staff and food were top notch. The views, wildlife, flowers and peace were more amazing than I had hoped. I look forward to my next stay!

WOW what a fantastic place - we had an amazing time!!! The studio is perfect- warm ,comfortable,great facilities and the best views you could ask for !!!! 2 adults and a dog spent a very comfortable week exploring the area with so much to see locally we only used our car on the final day!!

Ees Wyke Studio was the exact idyllic Lake District break we were looking for. From check in with Alison to the end of of trip, the team at Ees Wyke was amazing. We would definitely recommend this accommodation for others looking for a great place to stay.
