The nearest town is Masham, boasting a great range of shops, pubs and restaurants for you to enjoy.
The beautiful towns of Ripon and Thirsk are also within easy reach, offering beautiful buildings and incredible formal gardens.

Not what we expected. Horrible smell in the whole of downstairs

The whole of the downstairs had a wet dog smell?. The downstairs toilet had no window or extractor fan.( by law is this not required?) One of the pans had dried food in it and the table and chairs outside look like they've never been painted in years. Loose stones on the wall. Beds were lumpy and uncomfortable, new mattresses needed. Would never stay here again or recommend the property.

We had a fantastic time spending a lot of it in the cottage it has everything you need .
There is a co op a short drive away so we made meals at the cottage it had everything you need for a lovely stay .

Excellent stay in welcoming cottage. Good walking all around, plus easy access to Masham.
Pub adjoining the property serving very good food and beers.
Easy parking directly outside the property and owners were friendly and accommodating.
