An exceptionally, well-presented modern, semi-detached cottage located in a small residential cul-de-sac in the village of Manod, just on the outskirts of the historic, slate mining town of Blaenau Ffestiniog in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, famous for its Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Steam trains and now is fast becoming the adventure capital of Wales.
This cottage provides an ideal base for families or groups of friends to explore the area and spend time together.
The attention to detail, tasteful decoration and stylish interior with good quality oak furniture and complimenting fabrics add a touch of luxury making this cottage quite special and will create and make wonderful memories for you to take away and cherish.
The sitting room provides comfy seating for everyone and the reclining sofas mean after a busy day out and about exploring you can put your feet up and enjoy a family movie together.
The beautifully appointed kitchen with granite worktops is well-equipped and a dining area provides comfortable dining.
There’s even a utility room and downstairs cloakroom for your convenience.
Three spacious and stylish bedrooms are upstairs, with the master bedroom benefiting from a king-size bed and en-suite shower room, together with a modern and contemporary family bathroom completes this lovely holiday home.
Outside is a lawned garden with furniture, and the garage provides secure storage for bikes and equipment which is so handy given there are some fantastic mountain bike tracks and trails close by. The whole area is fantastic for walkers, with some wonderful routes from the door to lakes, mountains and waterfalls.
Blaenau Ffestiniog is becoming increasingly popular amongst those seeking some thrills! Zip World Titan, the longest zip wire in Europe, Bounce Below and Zip Caverns, a subterranean system of trampolines and zip wires deep underground, are all a short drive away, and of course there is the famous Ffestiniog Steam Railway to Porthmadog.
The Italian village of Portmeirion is 5 miles away, and historic castles and sandy beaches are all within a 20 minute drive. There is so much on offer here all year round.

6 Stad Yr Ysgol is a semi-detached house in the village of Manod in North Wales. It has three bedrooms made up of a king-size room and two twin rooms, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep six people. Also inside you will find a kitchen, a utility and a living/dining room. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a lawn area. 6 Stad Yr Ysgol is a charming cottage in a great location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park.

Well equipped, comfortable home. Good communication with the owner. We were doing a charity climb up Snowdon for Bowel Cancer UK on the Saturday. The weather was appalling. Such a shame we didn’t get the beauty of the views and countryside. Local pub is very friendly and well priced.

Very comfortable house. Location was ideal for us, visiting friends and enjoying the lovely countryside. Weather was poor but we were comfortable staying in the house for a morning. There were plenty of books, games etc.
Instructions for the tv/dvd/sound box/top set would have been useful.

This is a lovely holiday home, which I definitely recommend. It has a very well equipped kitchen. Beds are very comfortable. Excellent shower over bath in family bathroom. We didn't use the shower in the ensuite as it only had a high fixed height showerhead. We prefer an adjustable height showerhead. Helpful neighbours.
