Poppy's Cottage is a beautifully furnished terraced cottage, peacefully sat in the heart of charming Grasmere in the Lake District National Park.
Boasting wonderful accommodation with flexible sleeping arrangements and with much to do close by, this property is perfectly suited to both friends and family seeking a getaway in the idyllic Lakes.
Upon entrance, be drawn in by the heart-warming living area; snug and open-plan, the sitting area is dominated by an alluring woodburner, so you can curl up with the group and watch your favourite films during the evenings.
Next you will see the social dining area, adjacent to a sumptuous and well-equipped kitchen area, which tops off the ground floor in exquisite style.
Two tasteful king-size bedrooms rest on the first floor, one providing flexible zip/link beds to accommodate family's, couples and friends.
The first of which features a fabulous sleigh bed and benefits from a lavish en-suite shower room.
The second bedroom, also with a king-size bed. Next to this you will find the luxurious family bathroom which comes with an exquisite roll-top bath and a separate shower cubicle.
Relish in the soothing countryside air from the comfort of the back garden; a serene chipped courtyard is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee under the sun. Poppy's Cottage is a stunning terraced cottage located in the village of Grasmere in the Lake District. It comes with two bedrooms which include a king-size with an en-suite and a further king-size with zip/link beds, as well as a bathroom, the property can sleep four people. The interior also comes with an open-plan living area boasting a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. The exterior provides permit parking, a rear courtyard with furniture and a utility outbuilding. Poppy's Cottage is a characterful cottage, in the centre of a stunning village and with much going on in the surrounding area. Please note: Wood supplies can be purchased at the local Coop store in the village

We had a lovely stay at Poppy’s Cottage. It’s in a perfect location. Close to the bus stop, near the shops and cafes and at the heart of the Grasmere. Having a permit to the nearby car park worked perfectly. We hardly used the car. The house itself is beautifully done, very clean and comfortable.

Lovely cottage very warm & comfortable
A TV would be a nice addition in the bedroom so on dark cold evenings after walks you can curl up in bed and watch a film

Lovely cottage for 2 or 3 people but definitely not for 4 as listed. The rear bedroom has a double bed with barely enough room to move around and no storage except out on the landing. Fortunately there were only 2 of us so we were OK but we would have been very cross if we had come with another coup...
