Nestled in the heart of the Nantlle Valley and a short drive from Snowdon, this delightful terraced cottage looks out onto an idyllic lake with views of the surrounding Snowdonia National Park. Being centrally located in a quiet village, this cottage is ideal for those wanting to explore either mountains or coast.
It is also a fantastic base for walkers, climbers or cyclists but likewise for visitors who want a peaceful break; there's a Trigonos yoga/mindfulness retreat close by! A number of incredibly scenic walking routes can be started right from your doorstep in this area of outstanding natural beauty.
From picturesque bike rides in the nearby forests to kayaking or canoeing on the lake.
The village is rural but still offers so much to see and do. The sleepy village of Nantlle is also a great place for those who just want to relax and escape from the bustle of everyday life.
There’s a very good chance that you won’t want to tear yourself away from the stunning mountain views which surround this dear cottage. The owner of the cottage lives just next door, and although you’ll be given complete privacy whilst on your holiday, previous guests of Perthi have enjoyed collecting fresh eggs from the chickens and feeding the sheep at owner’s small holding in the fields to the back of the cottages - a wonderful way for families, especially with younger children, to spend a day. Whether you are looking to hike along the popular Nantlle Ridge, explore nearby beaches and tourist attractions or simply relax in a peaceful location this cottage caters for all. The popular village of Beddgelert is close by, as is the Welsh Highland Railway and there's even Pant Du Vineyard just down the road! Located in the idyllic Nantlle Valley overlooking a beautiful lake, this is a peaceful retreat.This characterful holiday cottage has a traditionally decorated sitting room/dining room. There’s a gas fire with a beautiful slate surround- quite the talking piece-as well as a TV and DVD player and dining table.
There is a well-equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, electric cooker, perfect for whipping up a homemade meal after a full day of adventuring, or relaxing. Also on the ground floor is a shower room, with loo, shower, wash hand basin.
Upstairs are three bedrooms all together - one double bedroom, one twin bedroom with two single beds, and a further single bedroom.Each room contains comfortable beds with plenty of space for storing clothes.
Venture outside to find an enclosed garden laid to lawn, perfect for the children to play outside in the sunshine. There is a seating area which is ideal for a spot of brunch, or even a drink on a sunny summer afternoon.Look out of the quirky traditional outdoor loo!

Beautifully located cottage (owner next door) where you can walk from the door into stunning scenery. Small COOP only about 10mins down the road for food supplies.
Cottage is small but well equipped.
Some great home baking and small milk was a lovely welcome gift touch.

The location was superb - fantastic views and good location for access to the mountains such as the Nantlle Ridge, the Moelwyn range and the “quieter” paths up Yr Wyddfa Peaceful cottage to relax in after a full day out The owner was extremely helpful about the local area and the cottage was equipped with everything you could need.

We had a fantastic stay at Lis’s place in May. It was spotlessly clean; tidy and well stocked. Lis was very welcoming, greeting us with homemade cake and a tea tray when we arrived. Really close to Snowdon with wonderful views from the back garden. Highly recommend.
