The picturesque town of Medulin situated on the very south of the Istrian peninsula is one of the most important tourist destinations in Istria. Today Medulin is one of the most developed places in Croatia and it is, together with its citizens, fully oriented to two factors: modern tourism and old fishing in the unique bay of Medulin with 12 islets. The sports offer of Medulin is surely one of its main assets. Six grass football fields, athletic track, discus and shot-put circle, long jump and high jump area, the possibility to rent a bike and to visit all the nearby areas, gym, and 14-kilometer-long trim track are good reasons to interest you to spend here your holidays. Obviously, other sports are not forgotten as well: In Medulin, there are eight tennis courts, three beach volleyball courts, six diving centers, horse centers… There is also the fabulous promontory of Kamenjak, a protected area with beautiful untouched nature and 30 kilometers of well-indented beaches.
