English by origin and Burgundian by adoption, Glenda & Roger welcome you to an authentic 17th century winegrower's residence, steeped in history & fully restored, nestled in a peaceful setting on the edge of a small alley & a bucolic vast plateau of meadows, in the heart of a peaceful residential hamlet located a stone's throw from the town center of Ameugny where a majestic listed Romanesque church from the 11th century stands.
Perfectly preserved & full of charm, nestled "on a balcony" on the south-west facing hillside on a hill overlooking the green Grosne valley & the magnificent Clunisois bocage, a stone's throw from the first vineyards and very close to the wooded foothills of the massif South Burgundy, this picturesque village typical of the upper Mâconnais has a rich heritage (Romanesque church, traditional winegrowers' houses with Mâcon galleries, wash houses, fountains, etc.) & a literally enchanting hilly landscaped setting.

Un super week-end en famille. La maison est tres jolie et il ne manque rien Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et disponibilités durant tout le séjour.On espère revenir et profitez de la piscine, le cadre est magnifique et pleins de choses à faire aux alentours.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Glenda et Roger. Le gîte est très spacieux et très propre. La terrasse offre une jolie vue. La météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter de la piscine mais nous avons beaucoup apprécié le très joli patio en pierres.Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte.
