Upon entering the front door there is an ample welcome hall which leads off into the spacious living areas, downstairs bedroom and house bathroom.
Each room benefiting from large windows letting the light shine through and the lake & garden views to be fully appreciated. The lounge/dining room offers panoramic lake views, TV, DVD & living flame fire. The newly refurbished dining kitchen comprises electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and views of both the lake and Coniston. Guests can also make use of the utility room with washing machine, dryer and freezer and the games room and garage area, perfect for storing away bicycles and other outdoor equipment. Bedroom 1 - twin single beds, a spacious room which looks out onto the rear garden. Light and bright bathroom with bath, shower and w.c, there is also a separate w.c available. First Floor Up the stairs you will find a further two bedrooms, both equally spacious and one benefiting from an en suite shower room. Bedroom 2 - double bed and views out onto the garden and fields beyond. Bedroom 3 - double bed & en-suite shower room & WC. Outside Slate paved terrace with garden furniture offering lake & valley views.
The cottage also benefits from one of the best gardens in Coniston, a large lawned enclosed garden with seasonal shrubs and trees.
There is also a small pond so young children may need supervision. Travelling with a dog? We can offer free use of a 1 acre field in Coniston village.
