We loved Birkwray Barn, Great facilities for a family getaway with plenty of space for everyone and well-planned areas for all our walking gear. The views are wonderful and the location really suited us, as we were able to walk straight from the door. Hawkshead is an easy walk away and we enjoyed the welcome at The Outgate Inn too. Perfect for our family holiday.

Beautiful house as ever, our 10th visit, so like a second home for us! Have always loved the views even when penned inside by rain. There is nothing that is missing or that needs to change at the Barn. It is also perfect for arriving with soaking boats and jackets and getting dry quickly without making a mess.
