Arenig is a detached stone cottage at the historic Cyffdy, ideally placed near the village of Parc in the Snowdonia National Park, three miles from the market town of Bala.
Grade II listed as a well-preserved example of period farm buildings of 1500s origin, and the subject of several folk tales, Cyffdy was the former home of Nansi Richards MBE (1888-1979), Royal Harpist to the Prince of Wales.

We had a lovely Easter break at Cyffdy. The accommodation is set within a beautiful, peaceful location and has good access to nearby Bala with the shops and lake. The property is comfortable and offers good sleeping arrangements. We thought the Welcome Pack and logs for the log burner were very generous. Owners are great at communicating. Would highly recommend.

Overall a very good and well maintained cottage and on a very good location. Our kids enjoyed the board games DVDs they kept us for the guests. She’s been a great host overall. Something to look for a future upgrade is the mattress on beds otherwise all good!

A lovely property. Very pretty and peaceful. Superb welcome pack from the owners. A very nice touch, thank you. A nice hideaway not too far if you need to pop to the shops, but we were very happy to take advantage of the cosy fire and lounge around and explore on foot. Has everything needed to enjoy...
