Ash Cottage is a beautiful stone-built home perched in an elevated position on the rural outskirts of Chagford within the stunning Dartmoor National Park.
With off-road parking and easy access to open moorland and the town, it’s the ideal base for families and couples looking to explore the natural wonders of Devon.
Inside, the welcoming sitting room invites you to relax beside a crackling woodburning stove, perfect after a day on the moors.
The well-equipped kitchen/diner is designed for both comfort and style, with exposed wooden beams – ideal for sharing a hearty breakfast or an intimate dinner.
The cottage offers two lovingly-presented bedrooms with vaulted-ceilings and exposed beams: one double and one twin bedroom both with built-in wardrobes and enjoying rolling countryside views – along with a sleek shower room featuring a double walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
A handy first-floor cloakroom with WC adds extra convenience.
Step outside and up a few steps to reach the enchanting enclosed garden, where a raised lawn and outdoor seating create a delightful picnic spot far-reaching countryside views over Dartmoor and the Teign Valley.

Ash Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and coffee maker, a sitting room with woodburning stove, and a cloakroom with basin and WC. The bedrooms consist of a king-size and twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, handheld shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for woodburning stove, bed linen, and towels included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with raised lawn and furniture, plus off-road parking available. One well-behaved pet welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.6 miles, pub 0.5 miles.
