It also includes a private en-suite bathroom with a powerful shower for added convenience.
The second bedroom, accessible via the entrance corridor, offers a serene, minimalist design with ample space and another en-suite shower room.
While the room provides a tranquil atmosphere, its storage options are a little more limited, and it does not include a clothes rail. Due to the unique castle layout, there is no lift access to this accommodation and the views from the living and bedroom areas are either over the interior of the castle or the glass roof of the Storehouse Café. What a striking place to stay. Apparently it was full but we neither heard nor saw any other visitors. An easy walk down into Stornaway for an evening meal and plenty of facilities for our breakfasts in the apartment.
