The Cairn is a delightful detached holiday accommodation surrounded by the dramatic landscape of the Cairngorms National Park in the pretty Highland village of Boat Of Garten.
This property is a rare find for families or friends seeking a delightful base in which to explore this part of Scotland, littered with rugged landscapes, an abundance of wildlife and plenty of outdoor attractions.
As you enter the property, be welcomed into the utility, boasting a washing machine so that you can easily freshen up your belongings after a muddy walk before venturing further into the property.
Regroup with your loved ones at the heart of the home, the open-plan living room, filled with elegant interiors and complemented by all the essentials required for a self-catering experience.
When you feel like trying your hand at cooking, rather than sampling the culinary delights of Boat Of Garten, make use of the quality range of appliances within the kitchen area, including an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, as well as a dishwasher to offer a helping hand.
Evening meals can be enjoyed at the dining table before you flick on the electric fire, sink into the sofa and tune into the Smart TV. Concluding the interior of the dwelling are the two elegantly appointed king-size bedrooms, both enjoying refreshing hues of colour and plush linens awaiting to be curled up under after a busy day. The Cairn is a detached cottage resting in Boat Of Garten. It comes with two king-size bedrooms, sleeping up to four people and served by a shower room. Completing the interior is an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire, as well as a utility. To the outside, there is one designated off-road parking space and secure storage. The Cairn is a wonderful retreat to enjoy this wonderful part of Scotland. Note: This property only accepts a minimum of 7 nights. Note: There is a Good Housekeeping Bond of GBP 250.

A great bungalow in rural Boat of Garten. Very toasty inside even when cold outside. Comfortable beds and a lovely shower.Fast wifi at 50 Mbps down and 12 Mbps up. We had no issues using the narrow entrance with my MG3. It's just a shame that the Post Office/Shop doesn't keep its outside area tidier.

The house was a great base for our holiday. The sofa and chairs were worn and not very comfortable. I would have given 5 stars if the furniture had been more comfortable.
